Karl Strohmeyer - Equinix Management

Karl Strohmeyer joined Equinix in 2013 after 12 years at Level 3 Communications, where he was Group Vice President for the North American Enterprise Group. There, he was responsible for building and overseeing a sales force of more than 1,200 people generating approximately $2.5 billion in annual revenue. Prior to this role, Strohmeyer led the Global Carrier Channel for Level 3 and managed sales teams responsible for more than $1B in carrier and service provider revenue. During his 12-year tenure at Level 3, Strohmeyer held several executive positions, supervising commercial services and large deal teams, overseeing customer operations and client service, and managing strategic relationships with other companies, including channel partners.

Prior to Level 3, Mr. Strohmeyer worked at NetRail, where he was first an executive vice president for operations—during which time he introduced four new products to market and was part of a team that raised $85 million in capital. Later at NetRail, he was an executive VP for corporate development, helping manage the sale of the company. Mr. Strohmeyer earned a B.S. in business administration from the University of New Hampshire and a master’s degree in international business administration from Mercer University.

Raouf Abdel - Equinix Management

Abdel Raouf a rejoint Equinix en 2012 en tant que chef d'exploitation régionale (Amérique) et est chargé de gérer l'ingénierie, la construction et l'exploitation des centres IBX de la région. M. Abdel a plus de 20 ans d'expérience dans les secteurs des télécommunications, du bâtiment et de l'énergie. Avant de rejoindre Equinix, M. Abdel était PDG de OpTerra Energy Group, où il était chargé d'élaborer la stratégie de l'entreprise, d'assurer le financement des projets et le déroulement des opérations quotidiennes. Avant cela, M. Abdel était directeur de Level 3 Communications, Business Markets Group : il a dirigé la branche « Entreprise » de la société à 1 milliard de dollars. M. Abdel a également occupé de nombreux autres postes de direction chez Level 3 dans les services dédiés au déploiement de réseaux, au développement de produits et à l'intégration de fusions et d'acquisitions. Avant de travailler chez Level 3, M. Abdel était vice-président du développement réseau chez MFS Communications et était responsable du déploiement des réseaux et des installations aux États-Unis, en Europe et en Asie.

Mr. Abdel holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Temple University in Philadelphia.

Eduardo Carvalho - Equinix Management

Mr. Carvalho graduated in Business Administration at the Catholic University of Campinas, and been active in the IT / Telecommunications market since 1999. He joined ALOG in 2005 as Head of Sales and became COO in 2012. In 2013 was been promoted to Country Manager and is currently responsible for the entire operation of Alog Equinix in Brazil and Latin America. Along his career, he has increased his expertise on leading in courses at Kellogg School of Management, Columbia Business School and Haas School of Business.

Corey Dyer - Equinix Management

Corey Dyer

Senior Vice President, Sales, Americas

Corey Dyer comes to Equinix with more than 20 years of global sales and management experience. As senior vice president of sales, he’s responsible for driving customer-focused data center and interconnectivity solutions across all sales channels in the Americas. He prioritizes client service and developing cost-effective solutions to meet customer and market demands.

Before joining Equinix , Mr. Dyer worked at HP, where he transformed the company’s storage business, increasing market share by 9%. Prior to HP, Mr. Dyer worked at Network Appliance, where he led the build-out of their newly formed telco and service provider vertical. Before that, he served as vice president of worldwide sales at Apani Networks, where he was instrumental in building the channel sales team and designed their partner programs and offerings.

Mr. Dyer began his career with Dell and held multiple sales and sales management roles during his 16 years with the company. His teams regularly finished No. 1 in server, software and peripheral sales, and he was a consistent winner of Dell’s annual Circle of Excellence award for finishing in the corporation’s top 5% of sales producers. Other distinctions included “Global Account Manager of the Year” and “Customer Advocate of the Year.”

Mr. Dyer received his bachelor’s degree in economics at Wake Forest University.
